Asking the Right Question
Contents
In this episode, I speak with JP Andrew, a lecturer in Philosophy at Texas Christian University and a Ph.D. candidate in philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin. We discuss what philosophy is and how it can inform our daily lives.
“There are certain questions that can’t be answered using merely empirical means. In other words, some of the most profoundly important questions we can ask are questions that can’t be solved by way of observation by way of conducting and experiments. If you ask ‘what is free will?’ you can’t just go perform some experiment.”
